Cozy Little Inn

A once-neglected 1920s inn near Lake Michigan was transformed into a private summer retreat with seven guest rooms and a restaurant space.

Inspired by storybook cottages and European country inns, the design layers Russian floral kilims, block prints, checks, and stripes with wicker and antiques.

“A fairy-tale spirit transforms a sleepy midwestern inn into an enchanting summer hideaway, rich in fanciful pattern and youthful color.”
