Project:

Using Chicago craftsmen and buying furniture at Chicago vintage and antique stores, we created an eco-friendly and locally sourced chic boutique.

Inspiration:

This retail store’s slant was highlighting fashion designers who all had Chicago ties. So we found inspiration in the city that we call home, Chicago, and we brought in an industrial feel and blended it with a femininity that was fitting of the designers’ fashions that adorn the racks.

What we love:

• The raw steel and reclaimed wood custom built clothing racks that were skillfully crafted by Bladon Connor
• The vintage mid-century Sofa in its original bouclé fabric
• The over-the-top dramatic cobra chair – who wouldn’t love this chair?
• The tree wallpaper from Stark in hues of blue

We redesigned this former real estate office into a fashion boutique that was rooted in Chicago design and culture.
