Merchandise Mart DreamHome foyer – interior design and décor selection

Inspiration:

A modern interpretation of Alice’s trip down the rabbit hole to a fantasy world called Wonderland. We used exaggerated shapes to highlight the fantasy of this fairytale with a modern-day twist.

What we love:

• The enchanted forest themed table of curiosities featuring petrified wood, a gold plated frog skeleton, glass eggs, and bronze rabbit showcased under glass domes. Everyone needs a gold plated frog skeleton, right?
• The huge 1960’s Murano tube-glass chandelier
• The spruce green Tom Dixon chair which blends tradition with modernity
• The malachite-patterned wallpaper by Cole & Son
• The black and white liquid lacquer harlequin painted floor – it looks like you’re standing on water

What we did:

Drove conversation and discussion for guests of the Dream Home. It’s a foyer after all – it’s supposed to get your guests talking…
